Lake campsite activities - Yelloh! en Champagne

The Der Lake is a vast inland sea, 10km in length, with more than 77km of shoreline, and 600 hectares reserved for motorboats and jet skis.

We organise nature walks in the forest, for young and old alike, to learn more about the local flora and fauna.

There are hides around the lake which are available to the public.
It is very easy to observe the migrating birds, especially the Common Cranes, thanks to these special facilities. Sheltered in one of the hides, you can watch a unique spectacle.
In autumn and in winter, very favourable periods for watching migrating birds, numerous enthusiasts come to admire photograph Nature’s Great Spectacle.

A little was away from the DER LAKE, the new Museum keeps a real record of the heritage of the Pays du Der.
In a peaceful, green setting, bring the family to see the old professions, crafts and traditions of villages which are long gone; the House of Nature and its gardens; the Pigeon Loft and the bread oven; the blacksmith’s house, and so much more.
