Winter - Etoile des Neiges

The excitement of skiing!

The village is situated close to the ski lifts. There are a thousand and one reasons to choose St Jean Montclar for your skiing holiday: It is a friendly, well-equipped family resort, and it has won the "Ski France", "Family Plus" and "Green Holiday Resort" labels. You can ski on 50 km of piste in the La Blanche and Ubaye valleys with a height difference of 1300m to 2500 m and facilities including 4 chair lifts and 12 ski lifts. All forms of winter sport are practiced and there are snow-shoe trails open to all, which allow you to discover nature at its purest and enjoy some magic moments. Snow is guaranteed: the area is equipped with high-performance snow cannons between 1300 m and 1600 m. The ski schools and the day-care centre will look after your children and help them earn their star. A 600 m2 artificial rink where you can show off your skating skills to music. Want a bite to eat, or a few minutes rest? Everything is at hand: three high-altitude restaurants with magnificent views in shepherds' huts. Escape, relaxation and sunbathing are all on the programme. Access is also available to non-skiers (snow-shoes or chair lift).

The freedom of the open air!

At Etoile des Neiges, in winter, we have sites for caravans and 25 heated chalets. You will have an area where you can park your car, make snowmen, build igloos and improvised sleigh runs. Laughter guaranteed from the moment you move in!

Made-to-measure services

To make the most of your time, all your equipment can be available from the moment you arrive. Just ask for our all-inclusive deals. Nothing could be simpler.

On top of this, as a client at the Etoile des Neiges Camping Village you are entitled to preferential rates on lift passes, hire of ski equipment, and entry to the ice rink.
And last but not least, a child-minding service for babies aged 3 to 6 months can be found just 200 metres from the Camping Village. And there is of course a pass for children from the age of three to the “jardin des neiges” – where they can try out their ski legs.
