Lakes and waterfalls are in fabulous green surroundings of valleys and hills - an incredible natural show. The environment is protected; including the reserve of Cascades du Hérisson. Lakes are naturally attractive because of their clear, calm waters, warm and with a kaleidoscopic array of greens and blues.

The Eyeglasses Museum at Morez, Rousses Fort and its 25,000 cheeses, the grottos at Baume les Messieurs and Moidon, the new Waterfall House, the Pipe and Diamond Museum, local cheese makers, woodmakers, and the salt-works at Royales d'Arc and Senans.
