The Ardèche basin is a major basin gathering all the waters from the Cévenne ardéchoise and part of the waters from the upper Loire basin.
Tucked away on the River Ardèche, which is classified as category 2 below Aubenas, are many spots where you will find carnivores (large perch and a few pike), and prized species such as shad, eel, zander, or carp. The novice fisherman can also practice the craft on populations of white fish.
